Ghostlight Ltd. is proud to reveal that its debut PlayStation®3 title, Agarest: Generations of War, has entered the UK PS3 chart Top Thirty in its first week on sale.
Released on 30th October, Agarest: Generations of War has confirmed Ghostlight's reputation for selecting the finest Japanese releases and successfully bringing them to the European market.
Originally released as Agarest Senki in Japan, this strategy role playing game has an ocean-deep combat system, addictive Alchemy and Forge systems to generate powerful items and weapons, and caused a stir with its Soul Breed system which requires the player to pursue three heroines in each generation. Your progeny's appearance, personality and stats will all be influenced by your choice of bride. You'll then get to play as this new character in a new generation!
The success of Agarest is down to the combined strength of the three collaborators behind the project - Idea Factory, Red Entertainment and Compile Heart. Each company has an outstanding reputation for developing high quality, in-depth and rewarding strategy games and the European release will not see any alteration from the original code in any way.
In fact, Ghostlight have added to the release with the creation of a Collector's Edition, which includes an art book, postcards and other exclusive items.
