Agarest Pre-orders and a few of my favourite things
Hi again. It’s Friday so I guess I should do another blog.
The big news this week was that the fantastic Agarest: Generations of War Zero went up for pre-order on the website. If, for whatever reason, you haven’t got round to pre-ordering then I suggest you go here. You might want to be quick to make sure you can get your hands on one of those lovely T-Shirts.
It’s actually been really cool hearing so many people tell me that they have pre-ordered the game. While I don’t have the exact stats to hand I can tell you that the first pre-order came in within 2 minutes of the pre-orders going live. So well done to whoever was keeping such a close eye on our website.
As Agarest: Generations of War Zero pre-orders have gone up I thought I might give you a (Spoiler free) list of some of my favourite things about Agarest: Generations of War Zero. I won’t go into much detail but if you want to know more about any of them let me know and I might include some more about them in a future blog.
Vacation Days are one of my favourite new features and are not only a great way of building up your relationship with the heroines but also of finding hidden areas with cool treasures.
The translation. Aksys have done a great job with this one which is, at points, laugh-out-loud funny.
The game looks a lot better than the first. The graphics have improved considerably and the character portraits now include animations.
Meeting an old friend. You do meet one character from the original Agarest very early on in the game. So early in fact that the name wouldn’t be a spoiler in my opinion. I’ll leave them nameless for now anyway just in case some of you have stricter definitions than I do.
Doing battle with the legendary Jumbo Cock.
Visiting Muff Rock.
Those last two might provide some context on the making me laugh part :D.
Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend and remember to start clearing your gaming backlog to prepare for Agarest: Generations of War Zero. You have until the 29thJuly.
Comments:
Great blog and love the news about Jumbo Cock and Muff Rock. Feel like a school boy laughing at that but so funny!
I was so glad to see the Jumbo Cock return in Agarest Zero
I heard some of The US dlc include some neew costume for the Free intentions. will you be doing that as well?
@Komic Yes we will be offering the DLC.
I actually have no shelf space left for Agarest, I think I'll pack up my Gamecube... sad times, I used to be quite the fan-boy... then the Wii arrived. I also gotta say you're sale on PSN is very welcome... even a trophy obsessed gamer like myself is temped by the bundle deal... and in turn DLC, but pay-day is Thursday.
Is agarest zero as hard as the 1st one? Beat the final boss on the true path line and couldn't win any fights after that :-(
Unfortunately my game backlog is officially unclearable. 20 games and counting.
Agarest Generations of War European PS3 version had no trophies, will Agarest Zero have trophies?
@Pepsi_biofusion It's always a sad time when you pack away an old console. I remember being quite upset when my NES and SNES broke. @Pete Agarest Zero is still hard but there is no turn limit now so you can grind a bit if need be. @Zastai I've got the same problem. @Zeis Agarest Zero does feature trophy support :)
